General information

A total of 100 standard rooms have been pre-booked in five different hotels in Arcachon just a short walk from the Arcachon Congress Center (Palais des Congrès). As this means an average of about twenty rooms per hotel, we recommend you book your accommodation as soon as possible in order to be sure of getting a room in the hotel of your choice.

Special rates have been negociated which include breakfast and VAT. Local tax (taxe de sejour) will be charged in addition to the room rate. Tax amounts per person and per day are:

• 4* = €1.20
• 3* = €1.00
• 2* = €0.90

If you wish to arrive before the CIML meeting or stay on after it, please state this in the comments field when making your booking. Although availability cannot be guaranteed, every effort will be made to satisfy your requirement. You will be contacted to advise you concerning room availability.   Payment

All individual guests are responsible for settling their own accounts on the day of departure by cash or credit card. Personal cheques will not be accepted. There is no extra charge for payment by credit card.

  Cancellation policy

The following booking and cancellation conditions apply:

• The Arcachon Congress Center will not ask for the payment of a deposit, but a valid credit card number is required to secure your booking.
• If cancellation is made in writing by October 8, no financial penalty will be applied.
• After October 8, a cancellation charge corresponding to one night will be charged to the credit card provided.
• In the case of a no show (i.e. no cancellation was notified) the credit card details will be provided by the Arcachon Congress Center to the hotel concerned and the hotel will charge the card for the total number of nights initially booked.

To book your hotel room(s) please click the button below. A special website has been set up by the Arcachon Congress Center, which is managing the reservations. Once you have completed your booking and faxed them your credit card details, you will be sent a voucher which you should present to the hotel on arrival.
